Ukrainian military strikes warehouse with North Korean ammunition in Russia's Bryansk Oblast

Overnight on November 18, the Ukrainian army struck the arsenal of the 1046th logistics center of the Russian army near the town of Karachev in Bryansk Oblast, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As of 2 AM, 12 explosions rang out in the warehouse and detonation was heard. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Combating Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, also confirmed the attack on the arsenal, clarifying that it belonged to the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to him, artillery munitions, in particular from North Korea, intended for their systems, as well as guided aerial bombs, anti-aircraft missiles and ammunition for rocket launchers were stored there.

Kovalenko says that this arsenal has already been attacked by drones.

Meanwhile, the governor of Bryansk Oblast, Aleksandr Bogomaz, reported the destruction of fixed-wing drones over the region. However, according to him, "there are no casualties or damage." According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, four drones were destroyed over Bryansk Oblast.
