An explosion was heard in Dnipro

At around 2:45 p.m., an explosion occurred near an administrative building in the central district of Dnipro. One man was killed in the explosion. Four more people were injured, including two police officers.

Within a few hours, the SBU and police officers arrested the suspect. According to preliminary information, the detainee was acting on the instructions of the Russian special services.

Zelenskyy: Russia sent soldiers from North Korea to storm Ukrainian positions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Russia has for the first time used soldiers from North Korea to storm Ukrainian positions in Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation.

He noted that a "significant number" of soldiers from the DPRK took part in the assault, but the losses among them were also "significant."

Before that, Ukrainian intelligence stated that on December 13, units from the North Korean military, which Russia had involved in the war against Ukraine, were put on alert, which indicated intentions to involve them in hostilities.

Oryol in Russia massively attacked by drones

Overnight on Friday, the Russian city of Oryol came under attack from drones. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the fire at the oil depot in Oryol was the result of the work of the Special Operations Forces in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces.

The Steel Horse linear production control station was affected. It is reportedly one of the largest oil product terminals in the suburbs of Oryol.
