Overnight, Russian troops launched a massive attack on a densely populated area of Odesa, home to over 250,000 people. As a result, people were wounded and there were problems with the supply of electricity and heat, reported the city mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov.

According to the regional military administration, the number of injured stands at four, including a child. All are hospitalized in moderate condition.

Also, due to the Russian attack, local emergency power outages are in effect in parts of Odesa Oblast. Critical infrastructure is operating on generators.

The attack left 14 schools, 13 kindergartens, and a large residential area of over 500 homes without electricity and heating. Experts are already assessing the consequences and determining how long it will take to eliminate them.

The children's clinic and kindergarten were significantly damaged.

The city authorities are setting up tents. In the morning, the district administration will begin accepting applications from residents of damaged apartments. Municipal services are eliminating the consequences of the attack.

Today, February 19, educational institutions in the Kyivskyi district, where there is no heating and electricity, will not accept children until the situation improves.

Heating points and points of invincibility will be open, where people can warm up, charge their gadgets, and drink hot tea.
