Ukraine neutralizes 84 of 100 Russian drones in overnight assault
Ukrainian air defenses shot down 37 Russian drones and neutralized 47 others during a 100-drone attack overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Telegram.
The Ukrainian Air Force stated that Russian forces launched 100 drones from Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The attack was countered by fighter aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As a result, 37 strike drones and other types were destroyed, while 47 drones were lost to radar without causing harm, according to the Air Force.
The attack impacted Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv oblasts, with reports of damage in those areas.
