Ukraine downs 55 Russian drones in overnight attack
Ukraine’s Air Force downed 55 of 108 Russian Shahed drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles during a nighttime attack into Monday, with 30 drones lost to radar, impacting Odesa, Mykolaiv, Donetsk, and Zhytomyr oblasts, the Air Force reported.
Russian forces launched the drones from Bryansk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.
Ukrainian fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups repelled the assault, destroying 55 drones across eastern, northern, southern, and central Ukraine, while 30 decoy drones vanished without causing harm, according to the report.
