Air defense neutralizes 43 out of 60 Russian drones that attacked Ukraine

Ukrainian air defenses neutralized 43 of 60 Russian Shahed and decoy drones launched overnight into Tuesday, with impacts reported in nine locations, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
Starting at 11:50 p.m. on May 26, Russia launched drones from Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and occupied Crimea’s Hvardiyske, targeting eastern, northern, and southern Ukraine.
Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) teams, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups downed 35 drones with firepower and disabled eight via EW or signal loss by 9:00 a.m.
The Air Force recorded hits in nine locations and debris from downed drones in three others.
