Ukrainian forces launched a coordinated strike with 400 small drones, destroying over 40 Russian military units, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told journalists on Wednesday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Zelenskyy described the recent operation as a “test” conducted solely by military forces on the battlefield, saying, “We hit with 400 small drones simultaneously, destroying over 40 pieces of equipment,” and promised larger-scale strikes.

He noted Russia aims to produce 500 drones daily but currently manages 300–350, while Ukraine’s production capacity is nearing similar levels, limited only by funding.

"We can use 100 long-range drones per day. the Russians will start to experience all this if our partners help us. And we will have 300-500 drones per day, just like the Russians, and we are very close to that. That is, the issue is no longer about production capacity. It's a financial issue," the head of state said.
