Satellite images from the American aerospace company Umbra Space, shared on social media by geospatial intelligence consultant Chris Biggers, reveal the extent of damage at the Russian military airbase Belaya in Irkutsk Oblast following a major operation by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU).

The first image shows three destroyed Tu-95MS strategic bombers and one damaged, along with a destroyed Tu-22M3.

The second image depicts one likely destroyed and two destroyed Tu-22M3 strategic bombers.

On June 1, the SBU conducted Operation "Spider Web," targeting Russian military airbases Olenya, Belaya, Dyagilevo, and Ivanovo with drones. Among the targeted aircraft were Russian A-50, Tu-95, and Tu-22 M3 warplanes.

According to a source within the SBU, the operation successfully struck 41 Russian aircraft, accounting for 34% of the strategic carriers of cruise missiles based at these airfields.

The operation, prepared over a year and a half, involved initially transporting FPV drones into Russia, followed by mobile wooden sheds under whose roofs the drones were concealed. At the operation's commencement, the roofs were remotely opened to launch the drones.

Sources stressed that all individuals involved in the operation's preparation are now safely back in Ukraine.
