Drones, ballistic and cruise missiles: Air Force spoke on Russian night attack

Russia attacked Ukrainian regions with 84 drones and missiles overnight into Monday. More than half of the targets were intercepted, as reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian troops launched:

  • 80 Shahed strike UAVs and decoy drones of various types;
  • 3 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Voronezh Oblast of the Russian Federation;
  • 1 Iskander-K cruise missile from Bryansk Oblast of the Russian Federation.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defenses neutralized 52 targets in the east, south, and north of the country: 15 enemy Shahed UAVs (and other types of drones) were shot down by fire weapons, and 37 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

The main areas of the airstrike were Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk and Kherson oblasts. Hits were recorded in 12 locations.
