Ukrainian forces down 30 of 58 Russian drones in overnight attack
Ukrainian air defenses neutralized 30 of 58 Russian drones launched overnight into Wednesday, targeting Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, with hits reported at nine locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
Russia deployed 58 unmanned aerial vehicles from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The primary targets were Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
As of 8:30 a.m., Ukrainian forces downed 12 drones with firepower and disabled 18 via electronic warfare or lost them to radar, across eastern, southern, and northern regions.
Russian strikes hit nine sites.
