Russian attack damages Odesa market, Cherkasy homes, injuring 7

Russian forces attacked several Ukrainian regions with drones and missiles overnight on July 24, resulting in injuries and infrastructure damage, according to local authorities.
In Cherkasy, regional governor Ihor Taburets reported a missile strike, with Mayor Anatoliy Bondarenko confirming seven people wounded, including a child.
By 6 a.m., all fires caused by the attack in the city were extinguished.
In Odesa, a massive drone attack damaged civilian infrastructure, as stated by regional governor Oleh Kiper.
A nine-story residential building was hit, leaving residents from the fifth to eighth floors homeless and raising concerns about structural collapse, according to the State Emergency Service.
Rescuers evacuated 33 residents and saved five trapped in apartments.
The attack also damaged architectural monuments in Odesa’s UNESCO-protected historic center and sparked a fire at the Pryvoz market, the SES reported.
In Mykolaiv, Mayor Mykola Senkevich reported fires at multiple locations, which emergency services are working to extinguish.
