Drones target Russian plant in Arzamas, killing 1 worker
Overnight, drones attacked Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, targeting the town of Arzamas, home to the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant, according to regional governor Gleb Nikitin.
Nikitin stated that the attack targeted “industrial facilities” in Arzamas, resulting in the death of one worker at the site.
Social media reports indicated that drones struck the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant.
The facility produces equipment for the aviation and space industries, including gyroscopic instruments, control systems, onboard computers, steering drives, test and calibration systems, flow meters, and medical equipment.
