Overnight, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukrainian regions using two S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missiles and 45 drones of various types, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The air assault was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 AM, air defenses had shot down or neutralized 24 enemy Shahed drones and decoy drones in the northern and eastern parts of the country. The remaining 21 drones struck 12 locations.

The drone attacks targeted frontline areas in Donetsk and Chernihiv oblasts, while missiles hit Sumy Oblast.

Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported that a missile strike late on August 13 in a village in the Seredyna-Buda territorial community injured a 7-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man. The girl’s condition is stable, and her life is not in danger; she is receiving treatment in a hospital. The man sustained minor injuries and received medical assistance without requiring hospitalization.

Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy strike damaged six private homes and vehicles.
