Russian attack burns UN aid truck in Kherson Oblast

Russian forces attacked U.N. humanitarian trucks in Ukraine's Kherson Oblast Tuesday morning, setting one ablaze and damaging another, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported.
The attack struck the Bilozerka territorial community, where the aggressor deliberately targeted the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs vehicles with drones and artillery.
One vehicle burned completely, another sustained heavy damage, and two others escaped the strikes.
"Only by a miracle was no one hurt. Today the 'second army' in the world defeated several tons of humanitarian aid. Terrorists — that's all there is to say," Prokudin said.
Situation in the region
Over the previous day, Russian forces attacked Kherson and several settlements in the region, striking critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas, Prokudin said.
11 apartment buildings and 24 private homes were damaged. The enemy also hit an educational facility and botanical garden, an administrative building, a store, a garage and private vehicles. Eight people were wounded in the Russian attack.
