Ukrainian intel video shows KAB bomb eliminating Russian drone platoon head
Ukrainian intelligence released video of a guided aerial bomb strike that killed Russian Lt. Vasily Marzoev, son of a general accused of war crimes, along with other drone operators in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on October 15, the Main Intelligence Directorate reported.
Back on October 15, fighters from the combined UAV detachment of the Active Operations Department of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, during aerial reconnaissance on the Zaporizhzhia axis, detected a position of Russian troops' drone operators near the village of Plavni.
Thanks to the obtained coordinates, a guided aerial bomb struck there. At the moment of the strike, Russian lieutenant Vasily Marzoev was at the position — platoon commander of the 108th Airborne Regiment of the 7th Air Assault Division.
He is the son of the commander of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Arkady Marzoev, implicated in committing war crimes against Ukrainian civilians in Kherson.
