Russia launches 38 drones at Ukraine, air defenses down 26
Russian forces launched 38 strike drones at Ukraine overnight into Tuesday, with air defenses downing 26, while 12 hit four locations, Ukraine's Air Force reported.
The enemy launched drones from Kursk and Oryol. About 25 of the 38 launched were Shaheds.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, radio-electronic warfare subunits and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As a result of combat operations, 26 out of 38 drones of various types were neutralized in the north and east of the country.
The military recorded hits by 12 strike UAVs at four locations, as well as the fall of downed targets and their debris at one location.
Overnight, Chernihiv Oblast came under attack, the State Emergency Service reported. In the Koriukivka district, a strike hit a facility causing a fire, and in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, an administrative building was damaged. While extinguishing a roof fire, rescuers saved a woman.
In Chernihiv proper, the enemy struck a technical building of an enterprise.
