Russian drones strike Chornomorsk market in Odesa Oblast, kill 2
Russian forces attacked a market in the Black Sea port city of Chornomorsk in Ukraine's Odesa Oblast with strike drones early on Friday, killing two people and wounding seven others, some in serious condition, regional governor Oleh Kiper reported.
The strike damaged the city square, storefront facades and private vehicles, with the blast wave shattering windows at a nearby college, preliminary data showed.
Rescuers and other emergency services are working at the scene.
Overnight, Russian troops also struck southern Odesa Oblast, damaging civilian infrastructure and an energy facility, injuring one person.
