Drones attack oil depot in Russia's Oryol Oblast, refineries also possibly hit
Drones attacked Russia's Oryol Oblast overnight into Tuesday, likely hitting an oil depot and sparking a fire, Governor Andrey Klychkov reported.
Klychkov said the assault ignited a blaze at a fuel and energy complex facility.
Open-source intelligence sources indicated the target may have been an oil depot in the Livny district.
Explosions and drone flyovers were also reported over Krasnodar Krai, specifically near Tuapse and Ilsky — home to oil refineries.
Russia's Defense Ministry claimed that its forces downed 45 Ukrainian drones. Kyiv has not commented.
