Ukraine's Special Operations Forces strike two sanctioned Russian ships in Caspian Sea

Near the shores of Russia's Kalmykia Republic in the Caspian Sea, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces attacked Russian vessels Composer Rachmaninov and Askar-Sarydzha, which Russia uses for military purposes, according to the SOF.
Officials said they received detailed information on the route and cargo of the struck ships from representatives of the insurgent movement Chernaya Iskra (‘Black Spark’).
The insurgent group itself stated that the attack's consequences are "very serious."
Composer Rachmaninov and Askar-Sarydzha are under U.S. sanctions for involvement in delivering military cargo between Iran and Russia.
"Special Operations Forces continue asymmetric actions to undermine the offensive capabilities of the Russian army," the SOF added.
