Ukraine hits Russia’s Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery with Storm Shadow missiles

Ukrainian Air Forces hit the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery plant in Russia’s Rostov region with Storm Shadow cruise missiles on December 25, says the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Numerous explosions were recorded at the site of the strike. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
The Novoshakhtinsk plant is one of the largest suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia. It is directly involved in supplying the Russian armed forces with diesel and aviation fuel.
The total volume of the plant's oil storage tanks is more than 210,000 cubic meters, Ukraine’s General Staff says.
Earlier, Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported explosions in the Novoshakhtinsk area, but did not specify which facility was attacked. Meanwhile, OSINT resources reported that an oil refinery had been hit.
