Russian forces launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 111 attack drones at Ukraine overnight into Friday, with air defenses downing or suppressing 80 drones, while the ballistic missile and 25 drones struck 15 locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The Iskander-M was fired from Voronezh Oblast in Russia.

The 111 drones were launched from Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and occupied Donetsk, with approximately 70 being Shahed drones.

Ukrainian air defense engaged the attack using fighter aircraft, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups.

As of 8:00 a.m., preliminary data indicated that 80 Russian drones had been neutralized.

At the same time, the ballistic missile and 25 attack drones hit 15 different locations, while drone debris fell at two additional sites.

Military officials stressed that the attack is ongoing, with several Russian drones still present in Ukrainian airspace.

Separately, on Thursday evening, Zaporizhzhia came under Russian attack: drones struck the suburbs, damaging seven homes.

Closer to midnight, the city was attacked again — an enemy drone hit the ground in a residential neighborhood, wounding two women, regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported.
