Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight into Friday, with one Iskander ballistic missile and 172 strike drones, targeting multiple regions, including Odesa, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

As of 8 a.m., air defenses shot down or suppressed 147 enemy drones of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types in the north, south and east of the country.

However, strikes from the ballistic missile and 20 drones were recorded at eight locations, with debris from downed drones falling at four more sites.

In Dnipro, a transport company was damaged and a fire broke out that has since been extinguished. An apartment building and a commercial premises were also hit. A 29-year-old man was injured. In the Dnipro district of the region, a gymnasium, a private house and a car were damaged, with two men injured.

In Odesa Oblast, port, transport and residential infrastructure were damaged in a drone attack. Fires broke out at several sites, including the territory of the Danube Biosphere Reserve, but all were extinguished. Administrative buildings, equipment and containers were hit, and at least six private homes were damaged. No casualties were reported.

In Chernihiv Oblast, an energy facility was struck, leaving about 6,000 households in the city of Chernihiv without electricity.
