Russia launches overnight drone strikes on Kharkiv, Kherson and Kryvyi Rih, killing one

In Kharkiv's Novobavarskyi district, a drone attack sparked a fire spanning roughly 1,600 square feet and destroyed a private residential home. 25 additional private homes and one apartment building sustained varying degrees of damage. Emergency crews were working at the scene, and one person was feared trapped under the rubble, regional governor Oleg Synegubov said.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that two residents were rescued from one of the damaged buildings. A 47-year-old man suffered lacerations from broken glass, while a 50-year-old woman and a 73-year-old woman were treated for acute stress reactions following the strike.

In the village of Pokotylvika in Kharkiv Oblast, a 69-year-old woman was killed in a drone strike, and three others were wounded, including one child. In the town of Balakliya in the Izyum district of Kharkiv Oblast, Russian forces struck a non-residential building, setting it on fire.

In Kherson, Russian forces attacked a 68-year-old man with a drone in the Korabelnyi district at around 5 a.m. He sustained a blast injury and traumatic amputation of a leg and was hospitalized by police officers.

In Kryvyi Rih, a 41-year-old woman was wounded in a Shahed drone strike in the Central City district and received medical assistance. A 22-year-old man was also wounded in the Nikopol district.

In the Izmail district of Odesa Oblast, a drone struck a warehouse, damaging its roof and windows. A fire broke out at the site, with no casualties reported.
