General Staff confirms strike on Ilsky oil plant in Russia's Krasnodar Krai

The Ukrainian military struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai overnight into Tuesday and also hit a Pantsir-S1 air defense system, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff confirmed the refinery strike, which had earlier been reported by Telegram channels and by the operational headquarters of Krasnodar Kai. A fire broke out at the refinery after the attack.
The Ilsky refinery is one of the largest oil-processing facilities in southern Russia, with annual processing capacity of about 6.6 million tons of oil, the military said. It produces petroleum products used in part to supply the Russian armed forces, helped by its proximity to Black Sea ports.
Ukrainian drones also struck a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, the General Staff said.
Other Russian targets hit included:
- A drone storage site in Donetsk Oblast
- Drone control points in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast
- Russian personnel clusters near Donetsk Oblast
The General Staff also provided updates on earlier strikes against Russia’s oil industry.
It said Ukrainian Neptune missiles hit the Novoshakhtinsk refinery in Russia’s Rostov Oblast on May 31, damaging two primary oil refining units, AVT-1 and AVT-2.
The military also confirmed a strike on the Saratov refinery on May 31, where the AVT-6 primary oil refining unit was hit.
