Russia’s overnight attack on Ukraine: what we know so far

Russia launched 70 missiles and 611 drones at Ukraine overnight on June 15, resulting in at least 9 deaths, local authorities say.
Kyiv region
In the Buchansky district of Kyiv region, a 1,000 sq. m. warehouse was set ablaze. In the Vyshgorod district, debris fell on the territory of a private home.
In the Fastiv and Boryspil districts, private homes and a car caught fire. In the Brovary district, debris burned on the territory of warehouses.
It is also reported that the attack on Kyiv killed at least 5 and injured 35, including two children and a pregnant woman.
Kharkiv
Kharkiv Mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, reported about the strikes on the Kholodnohirsky district, there are casualties. It is also reported that the Shahed drone hit the Shevchenkivsky district near residential buildings.
Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs said that 5 rescuers of the State Emergency Service and 1 employee of the military administration died while extinguishing a fire caused by Russia’s attack. At least 5 more were injured.
Dnipro
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Military Administration, reported that one person was injured as a result of Russia's attack on Dnipro. It destroyed one of the college buildings, and the blast wave broke out windows in a school and a cultural institution.
Sumy
In Sumy, a Russian drone hit the balcony of an apartment building in the Kovpakiv district. According to preliminary information, three people were injured, including a child.
