Ukrainian military hit Russia’s shadow fleet tanker FINA A and logistic routes

On June 16 and overnight on June 17, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces launched a series of attacks on Russia’s military, logistical, and command facilities, says the General Staff.
One of the key targets was the Russian shadow fleet tanker FINA A, which was hit in the Black Sea. Russian forces used this large vessel, over 244 meters long, to transport oil, bypassing international restrictions. The tanker is under sanctions imposed by Ukraine, the EU, the UK, Canada and Switzerland. The extent of its damage is currently being determined.
The Ukrainian military also attacked enemy logistical routes in the south, which allowed Russian forces to move between temporarily occupied territories. A road bridge over the North Crimean Canal near the settlement of Stavky and a road bridge near Voinka, Kherson region, were hit.
Ukraine’s Defence Forces also struck a Russian command and control point in the Donetsk region near Velyka Novoselka.
A number of Russian UAV control points were also eliminated. The geography of the strikes coverі the Zaporizhzhia region near Kamianske and Novoprokopivka, the Donetsk region near Ivanopillia and Komar, as well as Oleshki in the Kherson region and Maliivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In addition, UAV control points on Russian territory were hit: near Korovyakovka and Kucherovo of the Kursk region.
