Russian strike hits residential area in Sumy, likely with cluster munition

Russian forces attacked a residential area on the outskirts of Sumy on the evening of July 14, likely using a cluster munition, according to regional governor Oleg Hryhorov.
Homes were damaged in the strike. seven people are known to have been injured, Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar said.
Among them was an 11-year-old boy suffering from an acute stress reaction. Six of the injured were hospitalized, and two of them were later released for outpatient treatment after examination.

Hryhorov warned that unexploded ordnance may remain on streets near the impact site. He urged residents not to approach or touch any suspicious objects.
