Zelenskyy confirms Ukrainian strikes in Moscow Oblast as oil depot continues burning
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed on X that Ukrainian forces struck targets in Russia’s Moscow Oblast, including a logistics site and an oil depot that is still on fire.
“The Moscow region. Our long-range sanctions have produced results against logistics facilities and an oil depot,” the president wrote. “Thank you to the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces, our intelligence services, the Missile Forces and Artillery, and the Special Operations Forces. The targets were more than 400 kilometers from our border.”
Earlier, local Russian authorities reported that more than 400 drones had been heading toward Moscow Oblast. During the night, drones struck one of Wildberries’ largest logistics complexes, the Yuzhnye Vrata logistics park.
