Russian drone strike on Sumy Oblast market injures 10 civilians
Russian forces attacked civilians at a market in the Bilopillia territorial community of Ukraine's Sumy Oblast with a drone, injuring 10 people, according to regional governor Oleg Hryhorov. Sumy city was also struck overnight by drones and guided aerial bombs, Hryhorov said.
Two of the 10 people injured in the market attack are in serious condition and are being hospitalized.
Russian forces separately attacked Sumy city with two guided aerial bombs, jet-powered drones, and other drone types. The strikes damaged private homes, nonresidential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Two people were injured in the city attack and hospitalized; their condition is not considered serious.
In the Hlukhiv community of Sumy Oblast, Russian forces destroyed a post office with an attack drone, the official added.
Separately, Russian forces attacked two men with drones in Kherson's Tsentralnyi district this morning, according to regional officials. One victim, a 66-year-old Kherson resident, suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs and was hospitalized.
The second victim, a 41-year-old employee of the Kherson Oblast Military Administration, suffered a concussion, a blast injury and a closed head injury. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.
