Russian attacks on Kharkiv and Pavlohrad kill 1, injure at least 9
Russian attacks on the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Pavlohrad killed one person and injured at least nine others on Aug. 28, local officials said.
In Kharkiv, Russian forces struck a gas station in the city's Slobidskyi district, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov and regional governor Oleh Syniehubov. One person was killed and five others were injured.
In Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, four people were injured in a Russian attack, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said. Three of them are in serious condition.
A large fire broke out in Pavlohrad following the strike. Officials have not yet provided further details on the damage.
Emergency services are working on the ground in Kharkiv and Pavlohrad, and doctors are providing necessary assistance to the victims.
