Russian drone hits passenger bus in Ukraine, killing five and injuring at least seven

A Russian drone struck a passenger bus in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the morning of Sept. 16, killing five people and injuring at least seven, regional authorities said.

The attack took place in the Nikopol district, according to regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha.

Five people were killed at the scene. At least seven others were injured and are receiving medical treatment, Hanzha said.

Earlier the same morning, Russian forces also struck a Kyiv–Mykolaiv passenger train. No casualties were reported in that attack, and passengers and crew were evacuated.
