Russian drone strikes office building in central Dnipro, killing 3 and injuring at least 15
A Russian drone struck an office building in central Dnipro on Monday, killing three people and injuring at least 15, while rescuers evacuated dozens of people trapped on the upper floors, regional authorities said.
The drone hit the building in the city center, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Oleksandr Hanzha said.
At least 15 people were injured in the attack. Two women were hospitalized in moderate condition, while other victims were receiving medical treatment.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service said some people were trapped on the upper floors of the building following the strike. Rescuers evacuated them and saved at least 49 people.
Russian forces also struck a logistics company facility in Synelnykove in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
One person was killed and three others were injured in that attack, including a 15-year-old boy who was hospitalized in serious condition, according to regional authorities.
Emergency crews extinguished a fire caused by the strike, while a search-and-rescue operation remained underway.
