Russia attacks Ukraine with 128 drones, including 65 jet-powered UAVs, and two missiles
Russian forces launched 128 drones, including 65 jet-powered UAVs, and two missiles at Ukraine overnight on November 5, injuring at least four people in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions and damaging critical and logistics infrastructure.
According to Ukraine's Air Force, Russia launched two Kh-35 guided missiles from the Black Sea and 128 drones, including Shahed attack drones, Gerbera UAVs and Parodiya decoys.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed 105 drones, including 48 jet-powered UAVs, as of 8 a.m. local time. Several drones remained airborne, and defensive operations were ongoing.
The Air Force reported strikes at 18 locations and debris from intercepted drones falling at nine others.
In the central Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian drones struck the cities of Dnipro and Samar, injuring three people. Fires broke out at critical infrastructure facilities, while the roof of a private home and garages also caught fire in Dnipro.

Separately, Kyiv authorities reported that a 66-year-old woman wounded in a Russian attack on the capital on October 10 had died in hospital.
