Russian drone attack kills three, including child, in Sumy Oblast
Russian forces launched a drone attack on Sumy Oblast’s Verkhnia Syrovatka territorial community around midnight, killing three people, including an 8-year-old boy, regional governor Oleg Grigorov reported.
The boy’s body was recovered from the rubble of a destroyed house.
“The strike took the lives of people from different families. They all lived on the same street. They went to sleep in their homes, but Russian drones ended their sleep—forever,” the official wrote.
Three others were rescued from the debris and hospitalized, with one in serious condition.
The attack caused significant damage to private homes in the village.
