Trump posts AI tiger video after fatal zoo incident in UK

US President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video depicting himself confronting and embracing a tiger following a fatal incident at a British wildlife park, as the victim's family condemned offensive online content about his death.
William Chapman died after entering a tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster, England, on October 10. The park subsequently announced that the tiger, named Altai, would not be euthanized.
Trump shared footage of the incident with the caption "Never mess with nature."
He later posted an AI-generated video on Truth Social showing himself in a similar position to Chapman before getting up, chasing the tiger and embracing it.
Chapman's family said they had been distressed by "deeply offensive content" circulating online following his death, according to The Independent.
However, the family did not specifically identify Trump's video in their statement.
Relatives also said Chapman had experienced significant mental health problems over several years.
The incident has drawn attention to the spread of AI-generated content depicting real-life tragedies and the distress such material can cause to victims' families.
