Russia hits DTEK energy site in Odesa again, massive damage reported

Russian forces struck a DTEK energy facility in Odesa for the second time during the massive attack overnight into Tuesday, according to the press service of Ukraine’s largest private energy company DTEK.
“The destruction is colossal and repair work will require a long time to return the equipment to working condition. Our crews began emergency restoration work after receiving clearance from rescuers and the military. Specialists are inspecting the equipment, clearing debris, and then proceeding with repairs,” the company said.
The Energy Ministry reported that, as a result of the overnight attacks on energy infrastructure, consumers were left without power in the Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk oblasts. In Kyiv city and oblast, a significant electricity deficit persists.
Hourly blackout schedules remain in effect across the country for all consumer categories, along with power limits for industry and business.
