Russian attack on Kyiv and surrounding region kills 1, injures at least 6

A Russian attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed at least one person and injured six others overnight and on the morning of Sept. 10, Ukrainian authorities said.
In Kyiv, a Russian drone struck a gas station in the city's Holosiivskyi district, injuring four people, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
The strike set a car on fire and damaged a nearby public transport stop. A second strike caused diesel generators to catch fire, while a blaze also broke out in an eight-story non-residential building.
In Kyiv Oblast, one person was killed and two others were injured during the overnight attack, regional governor Tymur Tkachenko said.
Private homes were damaged in the Bucha district, while debris damaged a veterinary clinic and a house in the Fastiv district, where a woman suffered shrapnel wounds.
One person was killed and another injured in the Obukhiv district.
