Two new MPs sworn in to Ukrainian parliament. What is known about them?

New Ukrainian members of parliament, Tamila Tasheva and Bohdan Lukashuk, took the oath of office in the Verkhovna Rada. The total number of parliamentarians has increased to 401, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported.

Tamila Tasheva is a Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar stateswoman and human rights activist. She was born in Uzbekistan in a family of Crimean Tatars deported from Crimea. She participated in the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity, and in 2014 became a co-founder of the non-governmental organization CrimeaSOS to highlight the occupation of the peninsula.

Since 2019, she has worked in the permanent representative office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and since 2022 she has headed the body. According to the Chesno movement, before that she was an assistant at public events of MP Mustafa Dzhemilev from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine recognized Tasheva as an elected MP from the Golos party. She will replace Oleh Makarov, who died on October 29. Ivan Prymachenko, co-founder of the Prometheus educational platform, was on the election list before Tasheva, but he refused the mandate.

Bohdan Lukashuk is an entrepreneur and official from Khmelnytskyi. In 2014-2015, he was the deputy head of the Khmelnytskyi district state administration. From 2020 to 2024, he was the head of the Khmelnytskyi regional party organization Batkivshchyna (the branch ceased to exist)

According to Chesno, Lukashuk was a paid assistant to Anton Yatsenko, a lawmaker from the Party of Regions in the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation. Also, in the Verkhovna Rada of the IV, V, VI and VII convocations, he was an assistant at public events of his father, MP Oleh Lukashuk.

He is the owner of Gas-Line LLC , Buh-Terra LLC and a co-owner of a number of service companies of housing and construction cooperatives in Khmelnytskyi. In 2021, together with his family founded the agricultural enterprise Agroline-Podillia. Last year, the court fined the official for voting in the Khmelnytskyi City Council on the renewal of the land lease agreement with the mother's company.

Bohdan Lukashuk became a Batkivshchyna MP instead of Alyona Shkrum. According to the mass media, she made a mandate to take the post of Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine under Oleksiy Kuleba.
