Airplane crash in Zhytomyr Oblast: names of all victims revealed
As a result of the plane crash on August 25 in Zhytomyr Oblast, three Ukrainian soldiers died, in addition to the famous pilot with the call sign Juice, it was Vyacheslav Minka and Serhiy Prokazin, reported the Vasylkiv Tactical Aviation Brigade.
The unit announced that three combat pilots of the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Center Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed in the plane crash.
"During the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, each of them was involved in air operations to defend Ukraine, including tactical tasks on the Eastern and Zaporizhzhya axes," the brigade said.

Major Vyacheslav Minka was a resident of Kyiv Oblast. He returned to aviation in 2015 when Russia attacked Ukraine. By the time the full-scale invasion began, he had over 200 hours of flight time.
Minko was an experienced pilot in the brigade, technically trained. He was familiar with different types of aircraft and devoted a significant part of his service to instructing.

Major Serhiy Prokazin was a resident of Poltava Oblast. He spent 24 years of his life in aviation: from pilot to deputy brigade commander.
Since 2022, Prokazin has logged more than 100 hours of combat flight time. His comrades-in-arms recall his extraordinary smile, sincerity, and ability to help in difficult situations.

Captain Andriy Pilshchykov (call sign Juice) was a native of Kharkiv. He devoted eight years of his life to aviation. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, he has logged more than 500 hours of flight time, including during combat missions in difficult conditions.
Pilshchykov received a number of state and departmental awards. He was courageous, principled, uncompromising, always defended his own opinion to the end, and was active in the Western media, particularly in the issue of providing Ukraine with modern F-16 aircraft.
