Russia has launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. What is known?

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded launches of at least 28 cruise missiles of various types. Air alerts were declared throughout Ukraine. Air defense was deployed in many regions. The soldiers managed to shoot down 16 Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles.

Lviv region

In Lviv, fragments of missiles fell on apartment buildings, there was a fire, said the head of the regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi. There is destruction, people were evacuated.

Small fires were reported in other parts of Lviv, but firefighters have already extinguished them. In one of the city's hypermarkets, the ceiling collapsed due to falling missile fragments. There were also reports of damage to cars.

In Stavchany, 10 houses were damaged. So far, it is known about people who suffered light injuries there. Houses in Sukhovol were also damaged - no one was injured.

Update at 07:54 am. Lviv Mayor Andriш Sadovyi said that the missile hit the yard of a kindergarten. More than a hundred houses were damaged, more than 500 windows were smashed, and the kindergarten was destroyed. Four people are receiving medical aid as a result of the hits, their lives are not in danger.

Update at 11:45 am. There were no casualties during this missile attack. Fifteen people were injured. The youngest victim is 10 years old, the oldest is 72. Most of the victims had scratches and cuts due to broken windows and bruises. Five people were hospitalized.

Cherkasy region

In the morning, Russians launched missile strikes in the region, said Ihor Taburets, head of the Regional Military Administration. In Smila, a missile hit the territory of a private enterprise. Another hit the territory of a medical facility.

There were no casualties. Water and heat supply networks were damaged. Part of the city is currently without a water supply. Law enforcement and utility services are working at the scene.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian invaders at 4:20 am attacked one of the industrial enterprises of the Dnipro - a fire broke out there. It covered more than 800 square meters - it has already been localized.

Two people were injured: a 59-year-old woman received minor injuries and will be treated at home, and a 70-year-old man was hospitalized (he is in moderate condition).

During a massive morning attack, fighters from the East Air Command shot down seven Kh-101/555 cruise missiles over the Dnipropetrovsk region, said the head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

Volyn region

During the night air raid, air defense forces worked in the region. One missile hit one of the industrial enterprises in Lutsk, said the head of the Regional Military Administration Yurii Pohuliaiko.

Three people have been reported dead as a result of the attack. Several other people are in hospital.

Updated at 12:18 pm. In Lutsk, after the missile terror, rescuers saved a person from the rubble, they were hospitalized, wrote the head of the State Emergency Service Serhii Kruk.

Kyiv region

This night, the Russians once again tried to launch a missile attack on the region, writes the head of the Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko. The air alert lasted more than two hours. Air defense was operating in the region. There were no hits or falling debris, and no casualties.

Donetsk region

On the evening of August 14 at 11:23 pm, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a missile attack on Kramatorsk. According to preliminary data, the invaders attacked the settlement from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.

The occupiers' shells hit the warehouses where food products were stored. A fire broke out in an area of 2,400 square meters, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office said.

As a result of the shelling, two loaders were trapped under the rubble. The body of one of them was unblocked by rescuers, the condition of the other man is currently unknown. A 38-year-old employee of the company was also injured.

Khmelnytskyi region

In the morning, during the air raid, a series of explosions were heard in the region, said Serhii Tiurin, first deputy head of the Regional Military Administration. Air defense forces were working in the region. There is no information on damage to facilities, falling debris, or casualties.

Ivano-Frankivsk region

The sounds of explosions were also heard in this region, air defense was working. Missile wreckage hit a private courtyard: outbuildings and a residential building were damaged. No one was injured, Svitlana Onischuk, head of the Regional Military Administration, wrote.

Zaporizhzhia region

A missile hit the gymnasium stadium in one of the villages of the Zaporozhzhia region. The building of an educational institution, residential buildings, and a kindergarten were damaged, Oleksii Kuleba, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, wrote.
