Two killed, 41 injured in Russian missile and drone attack on Kremenchuk

Two people were killed and 41 injured in a Russian missile and drone attack on Kremenchuk in Ukraine’s Poltava Oblast on Oct. 7, regional authorities said in an updated casualty count.
The attack struck a residential area of the city during a large-scale Russian aerial assault in the morning.
Five apartment buildings containing a total of 431 apartments were damaged, along with 35 private homes, according to the Kremenchuk City Council. Six more private houses were destroyed.
Missile debris was also found in an open area in the nearby Hradysk community. The blast wave damaged windows at a school, an administrative building, a cultural center and nine residential buildings.
Local authorities have set up assistance centers where residents can report property damage and request help.
