US President Donald Trump said that Ukraine had “essentially” agreed to give Washington access to $500 billion’s worth in rare earth minerals. He also noted that the US had spent hundreds of billions of dollars supporting Kyiv during the full-scale war, and that he wanted that money “secured.”

The Ministry of Defense revealed details of the contract for volunteers aged 18-24

The Ministry of Defense presented the details of the contract for volunteers aged 18-24. Young volunteers are promised that in total they can count on 2 million hryvnias ($47,967) in payments each year. They also promise a mortgage with 0.0% annual interest under the eOselya (eHousing) program, compensation for housing rental, free medicine, education at state expense, and the opportunity to travel abroad after one year of service.

US Treasury Secretary to arrive in Ukraine

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will visit Ukraine this week (before February 16). The purpose of the trip will be initial negotiations on US access to Ukrainian rare earth minerals.

Zelenskyy will offer Putin a territorial exchange

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that if he holds talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, he will offer to exchange the territories of the Kursk Oblast, which are under the control of the Ukrainian military, for occupied territories of Ukraine. Military recruitment center employees beaten in Rivne Oblast
