Russian forces shell residential areas in Kherson Oblast, killing one woman, injuring three children

Russian troops heavily shelled the village of Stepanivka in Kherson city's territorial community, killing one civilian and injuring several others, including children, Kherson Oblast Military Administration and Kherson City Military Administration reported on Monday.
The attack targeted private homes of civilians. A Russian shell struck two houses occupied by families with children.
A 69-year-old local woman was killed in her home. Two girls, ages 12 and 16, along with their parents — a 37-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man — are hospitalized in moderate condition.
Later reports confirmed another injured child: an 11-month-old girl with a concussion, blast trauma and closed head injury. She was indoors during the strike.
Previous attacks
On Sunday, Russian forces attacked Kherson Oblast with drones, artillery and airstrikes, killing one person and wounding three, the regional administration reported.
Troops fired on critical and social infrastructure, residential neighborhoods in populated areas. They damaged a high-rise building and two private homes, as well as an outbuilding and private vehicles.
Early on Monday, Russian forces shelled again with artillery, hitting Kherson, Stepanivka and Chornobayivka.
