Russian troops hit residential high-rise in Kramatorsk: one killed, several wounded

One person was killed and five others wounded in a Russian attack on a nine-story apartment building in Kramatorsk, Donetsk regional governor Vadym Filashkin and Ukraine's Interior Ministry reported.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, Russian forces struck Kramatorsk at 12:55 p.m. on Monday.
Russian troops targeted a densely populated residential area, damaging a high-rise and a private home in Kramatorsk.
Several retirees were wounded in their apartments during the attack. Two men, aged 71 and 74, and two women, aged 73 and 78, suffered shrapnel and penetrating wounds, as well as a leg injury.
In total, five people injured and one killed have been confirmed so far.
Emergency responders rescued five residents and extinguished a massive fire across two building entry sections — from the first to eighth floors, covering 4,500 square meters.
According to the regional administration, Russian forces shelled Donetsk Oblast municipalities 34 times over the past day.
One person was killed in Lyman. In Kostiantynivka, one person died and one was wounded; 11 apartment buildings, a private home, a church and an outbuilding were damaged.
The villages of Shakhove, Zolotyi Kolodiaz Kucheriv Yar, as well as Slovyansk, Novoselivka and Siversk, also came under fire.
