Death toll from Ternopil airstrike rises to 38: Two more missing persons found

Bodies of two people were discovered at the site of the Russian strike in Ternopil on November 19, raising the death toll to 38, according to regional police.
As of December 8, 38 people have been killed in the missile attack on Ternopil, including eight children.
Three adults are still considered missing. Investigative actions continue.
What is known about the Ternopil attack?
Russian forces attacked Ternopil with strike drones and missiles around 7 a.m. on November 19. According to Ukraine's Air Force Command, Russians targeted multi-apartment buildings with Kh-101 cruise missiles.
Rescue operations ended on November 22. Local authorities assume that during a forensic examination of the building as part of the criminal case, remains of those currently considered missing may be found. However, they may not be located at all.
After the attack, local authorities decided not to install a central Christmas tree. Instead, they will set up a traditional Ukrainian nativity scene.
