Russian troops strike Kharkiv suburb with guided aerial bombs: woman injured
Russian forces attacked a Kharkiv suburb with guided aerial bombs, according to regional governor Oleg Synegubov.
Updated information shows a Russian guided bomb struck ground in an eco-park area on the outskirts.
One woman is known to be injured — a 40-year-old with blast trauma. She was hospitalized.
Previous attacks
The State Emergency Service said Russian forces launched drones at private homes in Kharkiv Oblast on New Year's Eve, causing fires. Kharkiv rescuers responded to three blazes in the Chuhuyiv and Kupyansk districts. There were no casualties.
In the settlement of Velykyi Burluk, Kupyansk district, strike drones ignited a private home, outbuilding and garage covering 110 square meters.
In Staryi Saltiv settlement and Kyrylivka village, Chuhuyiv district, a multi-apartment building and private home caught fire over 100 and 50 square meters respectively.
Overall, Russian forces launched 205 strike drones at Ukraine from 6 p.m. December 31 through New Year's night.
