Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Odesa overnight into Tuesday, injuring at least 23 people, according to city governor Serhiy Lysak.

As of 9:00 a.m., the number of wounded rose to 23, the regional military administration said. Nine people were hospitalized, including two girls (born in 2013 and 2008) and a woman 39 weeks pregnant. One person is in serious condition, eight others in moderate condition.

Russian troops launched strike UAVs at the city. The attack damaged an infrastructure facility, residential buildings, a kindergarten, a lyceum, a fitness center, a store and a construction site.

The city administration reported damage to a church building in the city center.

The most difficult situation is at one location in the Khadzhybeiskyi district — part of a residential building was destroyed there, and people are being searched for under the rubble.

14 injured people suffered minor injuries and received aid on site. Emergency services have been working at the impact sites since the night, Lysak noted.

Operational assistance headquarters have also been set up in the city. Residents of damaged buildings are receiving help with paperwork for state compensation under the eRecovery program, as well as aid from the city budget.
