Russian attack kills 2 in Kyiv Oblast, injures more across Ukraine

Russian forces attacked Ukrainian regions overnight into Wednesday. Damage was recorded in particular in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, as well as in the cities of Odesa and Zaporizhzhia.
Kyiv Oblast
In the Bilohorodka territorial community, a man and a woman were killed as a result of the attack, Kyiv regional governor Mykola Kalashnyk reported.
Four more people sought medical help. A young woman and two children suffered acute stress reaction, and a man suffered smoke poisoning. All injured received necessary aid on site.
A multi-story residential building was damaged in the attack. A fire broke out on the roof and top floor.
Kyiv
In Kyiv during the overnight attack, drone debris fell on the roof of a two-story non-residential building in the Holosiyivskyi district. A fire broke out there and was quickly extinguished, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.
Also in the Holosiyivskyi district, drone debris fell on the roadway; the blast wave damaged windows and the roof of a 17-story residential building. No casualties were reported.
Zaporizhzhia
Early in the morning Russians struck Zaporizhzhia, hitting the courtyard of an apartment building. As a result of the strike, a 37-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman were injured. More than 100 apartments and 20 vehicles were damaged, and a fire broke out, according to regional military administration head Ivan Fedorov.
Odesa
In Odesa three people were injured as a result of the overnight Russian strike: a 21-year-old man with shrapnel wounds was hospitalized, two men received aid on site. Residential buildings and religious structures were damaged, city military administration head Serhiy Lysak said.
Odesa regional military administration head Oleh Kiper clarified that in Odesa a drone struck the premises of an Orthodox monastery, where a fire broke out.
Odesa declared a day of mourning today for those killed in the attack overnight into Tuesday.
Kryvyi Rih
Russians struck Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile targeting infrastructure; a 51-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man were injured, city defense council head Oleksandr Vilkul reported.
