Russian drone debris damages SBU building in Lviv, no casualties

Russian drone debris caused damage but no direct hit at the Security Service of Ukraine regional headquarters in Lviv during an attack late on Wednesday, with windows shattered but no casualties, regional governor Maksym Kozytskyy reported.

Air defenses downed an enemy combat drone over Lviv around 10:15 p.m. on March 18.

Its fragments fell onto the grounds of the SBU’s Main Directorate for Lviv Oblast, damaging structures and breaking windows.

Kozytskyy initially reported a hit, then clarified it was debris impact.

SBU personnel are conducting urgent measures on site, and an investigative-operational group is working.

Authorities opened a criminal case under Article 110 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code (encroachment on territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).
