Russian forces pound Kharkiv overnight, targeting critical infrastructure

Russian troops have not stopped attacking Kharkiv Oblast and the city of Kharkiv since Wednesday evening, regional governor Oleg Synegubov and Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported.
Around 10:00 p.m., a Russian Molniya combat drone struck the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, hitting the ninth floor of an apartment building.
At least two people were injured — a 68-year-old woman and an 89-year-old woman suffered acute stress reactions.
From 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., Russian troops hit the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv five times.
“It can be stated that the enemy was targeting a critical infrastructure facility,” the mayor noted.
According to preliminary information, several cars caught fire as a result of the strikes; the fallout is being clarified.

In addition, in Chuhuyiv, Kharkiv Oblast, an enemy drone hit the fifth floor of an apartment building. As a result of the strike, apartments on the fourth and fifth floors caught fire.
Chuhuiv Mayor Galina Minaeva reported three injured women — one with shrapnel wounds and two with acute stress reactions. All received necessary medical assistance.
